Family: Married to Jackay for 51 years and blessed with four children: Ryan, Jill, Julie and Jonathan. All 4 are married and they have 7 grandchildren with one more on the way.

Education/Work: Joyfully served as pastor of Cornerstone Fellowship for 27 years — living in Central, ministering and raising his family.

Brief salvation experience: By far, the greatest thing God has done for Dick and Jackay was to save them together in 1974. They really were not looking for Him, but He came and got them. They will forever be thankful!

Ministry focus: God has given me an enthusiasm for His Word and His people. I thoroughly enjoy my work at Cornerstone and feel that I would choose Cornerstone as my church even if I were not the pastor. Preaching the Word and pastoring God’s people are the highlights of my week. Sharing life with the great people of Cornerstone is really a fantastic experience! For years, I have meditated on Joshua 1:5-9, “Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified! Do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go!” I know I can only be strong and courageous in my world by the strength of God as He goes with me.

Interesting fact about you: Dick and Jackay like to spend time together going out to dinner and a good movie. They enjoy the Saints, the Tigers, family and friends.
